Many years ago, I was encouraged to start this company. So, I took this advice and started Marc 1 Realty. Shortly after starting the company, I noticed an area of Lake Norman being overlooked by other realtors, so I shifted my company's focus to this region. Today, we are nearly 30 years in business serving Lake Norman and the Catawba Valley. I have watched the area grow and expand in all directions. I love this business and am proud of what we bring to the marketplace.
In my experience, I have noticed time and time again that clients want honesty, commitment, service, and allegiance. Of course, there has to be a need to purchase a home or property first, but when the client is ready, the company must be able to meet the standards of customer service that is expected of them.
I consider other real estate companies my competition and my friends. Mutual respect results in building a long association in real estate that is valued. It also brings a collaborative spirit that helps every transaction go smoother.
Customer referrals and relations are extremely important to us at Marc 1. We believe in hard work where the agents don't just sit on the sidelines. They actually roll up their sleeves and get to work. I try to instill an open mind and learning environment. I feel it's important to encourage everyone to share their insight with others. Once leadership is established and is working, everything else falls into place.
